Pallet Truck Lock – Installation on the Truck Loading Bed
The pallet truck lock can be installed directly on the truck loading bed without any special tools. Follow this step-by-step guide for a safe installation.
Tools required: drill, 9 mm and 35 mm drill bits, wrench, supplied drilling template
Choose the desired position on the truck loading bed. Make sure the pallet truck can later be moved in and out easily and that the lock remains readily accessible.
Position the supplied drilling template and make the following holes:
Prepare the housing of the pallet truck lock and insert it into the pre-drilled holes. Make sure it is correctly aligned according to the markings.
Fasten the housing using the supplied M8 countersunk screws. Tighten all screws evenly and to the specified torque.
Test the function of the pallet truck lock. The locking bar must engage audibly and release again via the unlocking mechanism.
